Eunice Evans

Eunice has worked at and managed a bilingual ECE service for over 25 years, consistently regarded by ERO as a high quality service. She has a Bachelor of Education, Diploma of ECE, Higher Diploma of Teaching (fully registered) and certificate of Management in ECE. Eunice is passionate about delivering a high quality service that benefits and transforms both the child and whānau. She has a deep knowledge of Māori values and practical
application in an ECE setting.

Shane Evans

Director Pou Whakahaere
Ngāti Awa

Shane has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and geography. He’s a rare find as a male kaiako at a bilingual centre leading its Before School programme. Shane integrates Māori culture and values into everything he does. He’s passionate about giving all children the opportunity to have the best start in life. Allowing children to learn about and take pride in their identity is part of that. He is a well-seasoned traveller and actively promotes the value of learning languages and understanding other cultures.

Tania Winslade

NGĀTI AWA, NGĀTI TŪWHARETOA

Tania brings over a decade of legal, governance, and policy expertise. She has worked for top international and domestic law firms, as well as advised on governance, strategic, and Treaty issues. Tania has two young children and established Tōā Education as a solution to providing more opportunities for all children and their whānau to experience te reo Māori, values and culture every day.
